I LOVE this entire set up! I had no idea it was going to be so awesome for the grandson! He loves to crawl into the ball pit and free fall! It is so soft with an extra pad on the bottom that he just giggles and giggles when he goes from one side to the other. It does not come with balls so calling it a ball pit may be the wrong word but it is GREAT! The canopy is a little strange but the grandson loves trying to plow into the pit from all sides so allowing the top to cushion is fall is great. The material is buttery soft and neutral. Each piece does have zippers so it can be washed. We have not washed any of it yet so I do not know how well it can handle the washing machine but it has handled the grandsons' rolling and falling amazingly well. This would be a perfect gift-both grandsons love it: one is 9 mos and the other is 15 mos. The giggles are priceless so it is well worth it! There are some large velcro strips and a long white strap that comes with everything. We can only assume the velcro is something to put on a floor to secure things but half the fun is watching the boys roll the pieces all over the place-they think they are doing important work and we all know they are using a lot of energy! If I could give this 10 stars I would!
